System Engineer

You will be part of a talented team of engineers, that demonstrate superb technical competency, to problem solve & support a mission critical system, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security and ensuring exceptional customer service. 

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure : This includes overseeing the operation of various systems and ensuring their availability.

Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools : Systems Engineers handle the setup and maintenance of software and tools used in the organization alignment to internal and quality control standards.

Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability : They proactively address any issues to maintainoptimal performance.

Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks : Identifying solutions and collaborating with vendors to implement fixes.

Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies : Ensuring data protection and system reliability.

Participating in the design of information and operational support systems : Contributing to system architecture decisions.

Maintain Product Lifecycle Documentation: author the creation/amendments to system documentation, procedures and knowledge based articles. 

Providing 2nd and 3rd level support : Troubleshooting and fix application and technical issues.

Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution : Collaborating with external partners and internal teams.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

3+ years’ experience supporting manufacturing system or working in a manufacturing environment.

A background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. 

Knowledge in ITIL or similar processes and practices 

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Experience working with serialisation systems or manufacturing execution systems

Broad expertise in infrastructure components e.g. Networks, OS, AD, Firewalls, Solution Designs

Basic level SQL and Scripting
