Senior System Engineer

You will be a part of a talented team of Serialisation engineers, that demonstrate superb technical competency, to design, implement, problem solve & support a mission of L2 & L3 manufacturing GxP system, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Designing and Implementing Serialisation Systems (PIMMS) to manufacturing sites: designs, implements, and maintains software and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product and quality.

Setting Standards: create efficient and effective operating and technical standards.

Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure : This includes overseeing the operation of various systems and ensuring their availability. Address vulnerabilities, manage access controls, and ensure compliance.

Collaboration and Leadership: work closely with other team members, including managers and manufacturing engineers. Clear communication is essential. Lead by example, ensuring effective coordination and alignment across the organization.

Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability : proactively address any issues to maintain optimal performance.

Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks : Identifying solutions and collaborating with vendors to build and assist in implementation.

Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies : Ensuring data protection and system reliability.

Maintain Product Lifecycle Documentation: author the creation/amendments to system documentation, procedures and knowledge based articles.

Providing 2nd and 3rd level support : Troubleshooting and fix application and technical issues and related activities such as RCA.

Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution : Collaborating with external partners and internal teams.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

5+ years’ experience supporting manufacturing system or working in a manufacturing environment.

A background/ qualification in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Strong in ITIL or similar processes and practices

Broad expertise in infrastructure components e.g. Networks, OS, AD, Firewalls, Solution Design

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Experience working with serialisation systems or manufacturing execution systems

Basic Project Management experience

Basic level Scripting

Basic level SQL
