Responsibilities
- Manage, motivate, develop and provide direct leadership to maintenance staff by reinforcing
and encouraging a high-performance culture and safe working environment.
- Communicate and coordinate maintenance activities within the team and with all relevant
stakeholders.
- Ensure there is efficient utilization of resources by managing maintenance staff capacity and
floor coverage.
- Accountable for timely execution of all scheduled work and provides guidance to team members
on prioritization of work including emergency/breakdown work. Be hands-on.
- Supervise and periodically audit maintenance work completed by team members and/or
Contractors ensure work is completed following all company policies and procedures including
GMP, Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
- Responsible to report Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate
Qualifications
- Have a strong interest in Industrial Automation
- Have a strong mechanical and electrical background - must have 433a or 442a designation
- 2-7 years of working experience in controls/electrical field
- Knowledge of Equipment Repairs and Maintenance tasks
- Supervision and Team Management skills
- Basic knowledge of good manufacturing practices
- Basic knowledge of proper work ergonomics and Safety requirements for industrial applications
- Attention to detail is a must
- Demonstrate creative thinking
