Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cascades in Vaughan, ON. As a key member of our Containerboard Packaging division, you will be responsible for managing maintenance employees and subcontractors, developing processes and procedures for PM execution, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage maintenance employees and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for PM execution to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime.
- Generate and analyze plant reliability data to review and update asset criticality ratings.
- Ensure operational excellence by identifying and addressing potential issues and making recommendations to management.
- Support divisional and corporate objectives, including health and safety, AAM, RCO, CIL, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste, and 5S.
- Experience developing and optimizing maintenance programs and schedules.
- Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions and rallying the team around objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Rigour and agility to handle projects based on their scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ability to support and advise business partners on occupational health and safety issues.
