What You Will Be Doing

Key Accountabilities

The primary areas of responsibility include:

Oversee Preventative Maintenance Program and Repairs for Ready-Mix Concrete Fleet, including Mixer trucks, Wheel-loaders, and various mobile equipment. Maintain fleet as per Provincial Regulations, including service records and applicable documentations. Oversee a team of mechanics, maintenance staff including Journeyman and Apprentices. Other duties as assigned.

What We Would Like from You

Journeyman Red Seal or Provincial Certification. Experience working in the Ready-Mix field is an asset. Supervisory experience. Proficient with Office 365 applications. Strong mechanical aptitude with effective interpersonal skills. Proficiency using diagnostic software. Experienced with Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic system repairs and maintenance. Class 5 license with clean Drivers Abstract required. Class 1 or 3 license with clean Drivers Abstract an asset. Follow and lead safe work practices. Physically fit with the ability to work in conditions which may include varying weather and heavy lifting (50 lbs / 23 kgs).
