As the Fleet Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our fleet. You will be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating routes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Driver Management: Supervise and mentor a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Route Optimization: Plan and dispatch driver routes efficiently, considering factors such as delivery schedules, traffic conditions, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track driver performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure that all trucks are in optimal condition.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on fleet performance, safety records, and operational costs. Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the trucking industry
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and GPS navigation systems
