POSITION OVERVIEW
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the maintenance operations of our vehicle fleet, ensuring peak performance and reliability. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing fleet conditions, scheduling maintenance activities, and coordinating necessary repairs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive records, tracking inspections, and liaising with different departments. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate effectively with terminals, repair shops, and dispatch teams
- Maintain accurate unit information and detailed maintenance records
- Assist in the preparation of KPI reports
- Coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Monitor equipment status and address DVIR defects
- Engage with external vendors to schedule necessary repairs
- Review service tickets and prioritize maintenance work
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proficient in MS Excel and email communication
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of vehicle systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2 years in a mechanical, dispatch, or similar role is required.
Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
