What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do ?

Maintain a safe and Secure environment Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal. Use G-track devise to conduct scheduled patrols per shift.  Performing External Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Perform environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc. Contact maintenance for any lighting, heating and other problems. Conduct interior patrol of the building according to the schedule. Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence. Hourly tower tours. Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.  Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site. Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports. Provide Excellent customer service

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg

Good verbal and written communication skills Must be good with Technology  Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Valid Manitoba Security Guard License Customer service oriented Must be able to Night shifts Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment
