We are looking for a Registration Officer to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Registration Officers provide clear, competent answers and information to customers to assist them with filing and other activities related to the compliance of various pieces of legislation and associated regulations, including the Business Corporations Act, The Business Names Registration Act, The Non-Profit Corporation Act, 1995 and other vicious Acts. Reporting to Operations Manager, Corporate Registry, other highlights include:

Completes investigation, analysis, and determines appropriate action to achieve alignment of extra provincial entity information with the home jurisdiction.Has the final authority to register, return, or reject applications submitted to the Corporate Registry that are not automatically processed through business rules incorporated into the software system.Researches, analyzes, and determines the appropriate action to ensure ongoing entity compliance with the various pieces of legislation and associated regulations.Research errors contained in the database, examines the source of the error and determines the appropriate action to rectify the error, including making corrections to information contained in the Registry.Enters, retrieves, and updates data in the Corporate Register database.

What you’ll need:

A high school diploma, along with experience and training in customer service and office administration. Knowledge and experience successfully working with legislation and regulations, including the ability to interpret, reference, understand and clearly explain their application accurately and appropriately verbally or in writing.General understanding of the various business entity types and their attributes that are contained within the Corporate Registry.Knowledge of investigation techniques and research methods as it relates to system issues and enhancements.Knowledge of Customer Service best practices and issue resolution techniques.Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, MS Teams, RegSys and CSM.
