Job Summary

We are currently looking for a motivated Senior Data Lead for this role with 10-15 Years of relevant experience to contribute to the SAP ecosystem roadmap by planning, executing, and providing guidance on Data Migration Activities & Processes related to master data & transactional data and work with a System Implementation Partner.

This is an instrumental Senior Leadership Role, as IPEX is currently undertaking a large multi-year business transformation program triggered by a greenfield implementation from a Legacy System to SAP S4/Hana implementation. The incumbent would be an Expert & Lead in Data Migration management, execution, analysis, process & reporting for this greenfield implementation.

The Senior Data Lead will be the primary contact for all Data Reporting, Process & Reporting on all activities for all Releases to support IPEX North America’s Strategic Data related SAP S4 HANA initiatives.

This role will work on a variety of data activities, such as migration, profiling, quality assessment, cleansing & construction & validation of master and transactional data objects as well as drive Data Readiness Plan for IPEX North America. This includes Entry / Exit criteria & KPIs for all Releases on this implementation, as well as working with the Data Cleansers & Functional Leads on data cleansing, construction & validation initiatives required for all Releases of SAP Connect to support all Businesses of IPEX North America. This also includes Master Data & Transactional Data Mapping, Transformation & Enrichment activities to account for all of the data objects as per the Data Objects Management List and business transformation requirements.

The Senior Data Lead will Lead the SAP Connect Data Project with our Senior Data Migration Project Consultant, Data Cleansers & current IPEX Data Lead to ensure data objects maintain compliance & reporting as per IPEX Data quality standards throughout their lifecycle. Does this sound like you?

They would also contribute to data validation runs, resolve data-related issues, data reconciliation and identification of corrective actions prior to production migrations. They will ensure the SAP Master & Transactional Data accuracy and change processes are implemented and adhered to in all North America locations. 

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the creation, implementation & execution of Data Migration Strategy & Plan.

Responsible for leading the planning & execution of all data migration activities of the project for all lines of business effort to migrate data from legacy applications to SAP S4 HANA Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, Data Extraction, Data Transformation, Data Conversion, Data Load, Data Construction, Data Validation including the Data Readiness Plan. This includes: all Mock Cycles, Dry Run, Cut Over and Production including Entry & Exit Criteria %s for all Releases of SAP Connect Project.

Responsible for preparing and presenting the weekly status report with the System Implementation Partner & IPEX Team.

Primary Point of contact for the third-party service providers of data migration activities & responsible for related deliverables. Primary point of contact for the Connect ERP global team on the application support of SAP Synti ‘s ADM System as the Data Migration Support Tool Execution & Reporting.

Responsible for Leading/review of Data Design & Mapping Documents, Data Cleansing & Construction Instructions, Transformation Rules, Data Load Plan, Review/Manage execute Mock Load Plans with the System Implementation Partner, IPEX Data & Functional Teams. 

Responsible for Leading & Managing the Data Defect Tracking and Reporting in the JIRA System. The Senior Data Lead will manage the Senior Data Migration Project Consultant and work with the current IPEX Data Lead, IPEX Functional Leads, Testing Leads & IPEX Data Cleansing Teams on the resolution of Data Defects Closure and Reporting.

Lead & Support ETL Processes between Legacy System Info Flo, PIM, ADM System and SAP S4 HANA as required, including data integrity across the above systems 

Lead & Perform Impact assessment on various SAP Data Object Enhancements and Configurations.

Manage a Team of Data Cleansers 1:1 on Data Migration Activities Process, Reporting & Accuracy / Completeness/ Validation, Cleansing & Construction of Data.

Lead in Developing Back Up Training Plan for Data Cleansers and Share Knowledge & Training including Backup on Data Migration Activities with Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant. 

Education

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science & Engineering or Business or Supply Chain or equivalent

Technical Skills & Experience

10-15 years of relevant experience

Experience with a focus on Data Migration (data cleansing, construction and pre/post-load validation)

SAP OTC , PTP, FTP, RTR, FTP, LOG & MTD Process including Master Data & Transactional Data Experience

Process & Prioritizing skills

Experience with Data Migration Cockpit of SAP System including LSMW, LTMC etc

Experience in ETL

Strong experience with ADM System Admin & Reporting

Reporting Skills

Experience with JIRA / Tricentis for Testing & Data Defects

PowerPoint Presentation Skills

Experience with SQL Coding 

Experience managing a Team of Data Cleansers with People Management Skills 

Experience with ServiceNow & Microsoft Sharepoint Work Flow would be ideal 

Experience with Legacy Info Flo System is a plus
