We are looking to hire a Highway Maintenance Road Patroller to join our growing team in Barrhead, Alberta.

Responsibilities include:

Patrol the roads and observe the Right of Way (ROW), to identify work that needs to be done. Report and communicate any equipment defects, maintenance issues, and safety hazards to the Foreman/Superintendent. Ensure timely accurate communication of all information and completion of all required documentation. Deal with the public in a courteous professional manner. Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System Participate in required training. Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare and submit necessary reports (daily, weekly, etc.). Other duties as required.

Desired skills and Experience:

Class 5 with a clean driver's abstract is required; Class 3 or 1 would be an asset. Physically able to complete labour work. Experience related to highway maintenance is an asset. Ability to work continuously in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with computer systems and Apps. Ability to work in a team as well as independently, and with minimal supervision.
