Ferry Operator

We are looking to hire a **Ferry Operator **to join our growing team at the **Klondyke Ferry near Barrhead, Alberta.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the main point of contact for the public.
- Responsible for loading and unloading vehicles and passenger traffic.
- Operation and maintenance of the ferry.
- Inspect ferry for unusual situations, potential and safety hazards.
- Ensure passenger compliance with regulations.
- Perform docking procedures.
- Conduct vehicle counts and safety equipment check.
- Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System.

**Desired skills and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Ferry Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- A Class 3 driver’s license preferred, Class 5 license at a minimum.
- Ability to work after-hours if required.
- Good communication skills.
