Position Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for inspiring and implementing a more forward thinking approach to production on the McDonald's Account. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovative production solutions with specific focus on social media/content creation, digital and television. This role will be highly consultative, collaborating closely with internal Cossette teams and McDonald's to develop and execute world class campaigns. Additionally, this role will act as a connector across multiple Cossette offices (MTL, TO, VAN), ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on production initiatives. Reporting to VP, Production, you will work closely with the McDonalds Creative, Strategy and Business leadership, both leading large programmes as well as overseeing production teams on execution.

What you’ll do: 

Creative Conceptualization: Collaborate with internal teams and clients in the crafting of innovative concepts that challenge traditional production norms and drive creative excellence.  Production Planning and Execution: Consult on the end-to-end production process (when you are not leading yourself), from pre-production to post-production, ensuring seamless execution of projects while adhering to timelines and budgets. Technology Integration: Leverage emerging technologies and trends in production, in an effort to integrate cutting-edge tools and techniques to enhance the creative process and deliver exceptional results. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, designers, writers, and other team members to bring creative visions to life and ensure alignment with project objectives. Help facilitate smoother social content productions with budgetary support and guidance as well as being a resource for content creators.  Inter-Office Collaboration: Act as a connector across multiple Cossette offices across the country (MTL, TO, VAN, HAL), facilitating collaboration and alignment on production initiatives. Client Management: Act as the primary production point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations to ensure they are always on board when pushing creative and production boundaries. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of production, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Innovation and Experimentation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team, encouraging bold ideas and pushing creative boundaries. Be a proactive resource for creative teams by keeping them abreast of up and coming directorial talent/animators, etc. in both local and international markets. Leadership and Influence : Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience overseeing producers. You should possess the ability to influence and inspire internal and external stakeholders.

360 experience across all mediums including Broadcast, OLV, Social, Print, Experiential  Additional non-traditional agency experience advantageous (eg social, experiential, production company, brand side) Experience leading teams of producers, strong mentorship abilities  Experience working with wide range of budgets Experience on global brands, working across multiple markets  Globally minded extensive black book of contacts Bilingual EN/FR advantageous Experience working with ACTRA/UDA SAG experience advantageous
