The Principal Project Manager will provide senior level technical direction, mentoring, and input to junior and intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients. Experience in a lead client role with MTO is required, in addition to liaising with regulatory agencies, networking with other professionals and new business development.
Location – Toronto, ON.
Your role within the team:
Manage high-complexity Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines and consultants as required on a project basis to meet MTO requirements Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers and communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations Bringing considerable highway design experience, provide senior level technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to the highway engineering team Maintain required quality system standards and procedures, and embrace and actively support behaviour-based workplace health and safety policiesWhy choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

Civil Engineering degree and licensed as a P.Eng. in Ontario Possess industry-leading highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in all MTO RAQS Highway Engineering specialties Minimum 20 years experience in provincial highway design multidisciplinary projects Minimum 10 years recent experience in multidisciplinary highway design projects being recognized as Project Manager by MTO Proven expertise with AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and other relevant industry-standard tools Valid driver’s license and vehicleAre you up for this challenge?
