En tant que membre de l'équipe juridique de Sonder, vous ferez preuve d'innovation dans la résolution des problèmes et des défis, coordonnerez les questions et les problèmes commerciaux et juridiques, assurerez le suivi des réponses avec les autres services de l'organisation, et serez énergique, concentré et orienté vers les résultats avec un haut niveau d'intégrité et d'honnêteté. 


L'opportunité :


SOUTIEN ADMINISTRATIF ET JURIDIQUE :

Fournir un soutien administratif à l'équipe juridique 

Gérer les listes de distribution du service juridique, le site intranet et les sites partagés connexes.

Triage et expédition du courrier

Superviser les abonnements et les licences du département juridique et veiller à ce que les renouvellements et les paiements soient effectués en temps voulu et de manière rentable.

participer aux opérations juridiques quotidiennes de l'organisation, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, la gestion des contrats, la conformité et la gestion des fournisseurs juridiques.

participer à l'élaboration et à la gestion du budget du service juridique, au suivi des dépenses et à l'identification des possibilités de réduction des coûts

Participer à la collecte et à l'analyse des mesures et des données du service juridique afin d'identifier les tendances, d'évaluer les performances et d'éclairer la prise de décision.

Participer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de programmes de formation destinés au personnel du service juridique et à d'autres employés sur les processus juridiques, les outils technologiques et les exigences en matière de conformité.

Participer à des projets spéciaux et à des initiatives de l'équipe ou du service.

Effectuer d'autres tâches selon l'affectation ou la demande.


ADMINISTRATION DES CONTRATS :

Travailler en partenariat et en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe chargée des achats

Triage, examen de divers contrats, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les accords de transfert de matériel et les accords de non-divulgation.

Faire remonter les contrats au sein de l'équipe juridique, si nécessaire, et négocier les conditions avec les parties prenantes internes.

Maintenir et mettre à jour les modèles en les alignant sur les politiques générales de l'entreprise. 

Examiner les exigences des clients en matière d'assurance par rapport aux politiques d'assurance de l'entreprise

Tenir à jour des registres, des journaux et des systèmes de classement pour référence future sur les contrats existants et nouveaux.

Gérer, organiser et contribuer à la création et/ou à l'amélioration de processus contractuels efficaces

SOUTIEN IMMOBILIER :

Fournir une assistance générale dans les transactions immobilières et de location

Examiner, rédiger et compiler les documents de transaction afin de faciliter les transactions immobilières.

Analyser et résumer les documents, les ordonnances de zonage et les statuts pour examen par les avocats.

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les avocats et en interface avec d'autres parties prenantes internes et externes pour résoudre une variété de problèmes quotidiens, et soutenir un large éventail de transactions et de projets commerciaux.

Collecter, suivre et effectuer des vérifications juridiques préalables.

tenir à jour des bases de données documentaires et collaborer à l'élaboration et à la mise à jour de processus et de procédures afin d'assurer l'efficacité de l'engagement de l'équipe juridique

Assurer la polyvalence et la hiérarchisation des tâches afin de fournir en permanence un travail de qualité dans les délais impartis. 

Ce que nous recherchons:

5+ ans d'expérience en tant que parajuriste au sein d'une entreprise

Solides compétences en communication et capacité à expliquer clairement les termes juridiques à des équipes interfonctionnelles au sein de l'organisation ;

Compétences organisationnelles exceptionnelles et souci du détail ;

Capacité à hiérarchiser et à gérer efficacement un grand nombre de tâches ;

Capacité à s'adapter à des conditions changeantes et rapides afin d'assurer un alignement continu avec les exigences de l'entreprise ;

Volonté de relever des défis et d'atteindre de nouveaux objectifs ;

Capacité à identifier les problèmes et à déterminer quand une escalade est nécessaire ;

We are seeking a diligent Paralegal to join our collaborative workplace. As a member of Sonder’s Legal Team, you will be innovative in solving problems and challenges, coordinate business and legal issues and questions, follow-up on responses with other departments within the organization, and be energetic, focused and results-oriented with a high level of integrity and honesty. 

The Opportunity:

ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL OPS SUPPORT:

Provide administrative support to the legal team 

Manage legal department distribution lists, intranet site and related shared sites

Triaging and dispatching of mail

Oversee legal department subscriptions and licenses and ensure timely and cost-effective renewals and payments

Assist with the day-to-day legal operations of the organization, including but not limited to contract management, compliance, and legal vendor management.

Assist in developing and managing the legal department budget, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Assist in collecting and analyzing the legal department metrics and data to identify trends, assess performance, and inform decision-making.

Assist in developing and delivering training programs for legal department staff and other employees on legal processes, technology tools, and compliance requirements.

Assist with special projects and team/departmental initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned/ requested.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION:

Partner and work closely with the Procurement team

Triage, review various contracts including but not limited to MSAs, NDAs

Escalate contracts within the Legal Team, where necessary, and negotiate terms with internal stakeholders

Maintain and update templates aligning with overall corporate policies 

Review customer insurance requirements against corporate insurance policies

Maintain records, diarizing, and filing systems for future reference on existing and new contracts

Manage, organize, and help to create and/ or improve efficient contracting processes

REAL ESTATE SUPPORT:

Providing general assistance in real estate and leasing transactions

Reviewing, drafting and compiling transaction documents to facilitate real estate transactions

Analyzing and summarizing documents, zoning ordinances and statutes for review by attorneys

Working closely with attorneys and interface with other internal and external stakeholders to resolve a variety of day-to-day issues, and supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and projects

Collecting, tracking and performing legal due diligence

Maintaining document databases and collaborating to develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure efficiency of legal team engagement

Multitasking and prioritizing work assignments to consistently provide high-quality work product within deadlines. 

Who We Look For:

5+ years of experience as a paralegal working in-house

Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly explain legal terms to cross-functional teams within the organization;

Exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail;

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a large number of tasks;

Able to adapt to changing and fast paced conditions to ensure continued alignment with business requirements;

Willingness to take on challenges and new objectives;

Ability to identify issues and determine when escalation is required;

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of legal professionals

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Tech savvy and striving for constant improvement and innovation.

Computer skills, including experience with Mac, Microsoft office, G-Suite, Salesforce, Coupa and NetSuite or an openness to learning new programs; and

Ability to contribute positively to a team environment.

Bonus Points For:

Experience with Litigation, Insurance, Privacy, or IP matters; 

Flexibility in dealing with numerous requests and a varied range of tasks; and 

Proficiency in one or several foreign languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, etc.
