Position Purpose

A critical leadership position in a strategic growth area for CHEP, the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Solutions will be responsible for creating and delivering value for customers through sales, value delivery for CHEP’s growing portfolio of consultative, value-added supply chain solutions and transportation collaboration. The Customer Supply Chain Solutions Senior Manager will:

Clarify customer needs and identify opportunities for value creation aligned with strategic commercial plans. Develop proposals to deliver existing solutions to customers with clearly defined customer value and ROI Deliver value to our customers by successfully executing supply chain solution engagements Design new supply chain solutions to fulfill currently unmet customer needs

Major/Key Accountabilities

Collaborate with CHEP Sales to uncover challenges with the supply chain of both existing and potential new large accounts, solving with innovative solutions previously unexplored by CHEP Develop the value proposition for the customer in exploring new solutions, gain buy-in from senior leadership and quantifying the benefit on both sides Work with Sales and Business Development Managers to engage with potential customers and land engagements Manage all aspects of the scoping, execution, and preparation of engagement deliverables by outside consultants Present recommendations to senior leadership on short and long term strategy. Drive execution of approved strategic initiatives to enable long-term growth of supply chain solutions. Conduct market assessments to determine where to focus value added sales efforts Develop and support the execution of external and internal marketing of CHEP solutions Develop case studies for publication Execute customer engagement for marketing programs Manage and enhance clear performance objectives and provide ongoing assessments Enable a culture of learning and curiosity Digital (IoT) Solutions customer deployment and commercialization Customer value created and recognized Successful completion of project deliverables Customer retention Customer improvement Marketing program customer and coalition engagement In conjunction with Strategy & Insights team, develop understanding of customer needs and pain points for which CHEP can develop propositions & solutions Work with centers of excellence in the business (including BXB Digital, Logistics, Supply Chain, Group and North American Innovation and Product Development, LMS, FMS) to develop and commercialize new products and solutions for customers, targeted to their needs and pain points Re-design existing solutions to enhance their competitiveness through a deep understanding of customer needs and the market environment, with a particular focus on transport collaboration Innovate new solutions and propositions, in the areas supporting Zero Waste World: eliminating packaging waste, reducing empty transport miles and using supply chain visibility (IoT tracking) to reduce inefficiency Quantify & create value propositions for CPG customers & retailers

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Related field Well-developed oral, written, and graphical communication skills, including development & presentation of formal briefings and proposals or supervisory experience

Desirable Qualifications:

MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering PMP certification Lean Six Sigma Green or Master Black Belt Certification

Experience

Minimum 5 years CPG manufacturing or Retail supply chain experience (manufacturer, retailer, or service provider) Minimum 5 years client-facing strategic or consultative sales experience Minimum 3 years process improvement experience in a manufacturing or retail environment Experience in developing and deploying value added solutions to improve profitability or drive retention required Experience in funnel management, lead generation

Collaborer avec l’équipe des Ventes de CHEP pour trouver les difficultés dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement des clients importants actuels et des clients potentiels et les résoudre avec des solutions innovatrices qui n’ont pas été explorées auparavant par CHEP.
