We are currently seeking a full-time Event Director to lead outbound sales and event coordination. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, organizing events, and driving sales through strategic partnerships that align with Chick-fil-A's values of service and hospitality.
This position is crucial to our mission, overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution to enhance our brand visibility and promote our food in dynamic, engaging ways.
The duties and responsibilities of the Event Director include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops and executes outbound sales strategies to secure event partnerships and opportunities for catering and food sales.
- Reports directly to Director of marketing
- Builds and nurtures relationships with potential clients, community organizations, and local businesses to grow event sales.
- Oversees the planning, logistics, and execution of events, ensuring all details align with Chick-fil-A’s standards for service, food quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates with internal teams, including kitchen and front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless coordination of food services during events.
- Represents Chick-fil-A at community events, conferences, and trade shows to increase visibility and drive new business.
- Tracks event performance, including sales data and client feedback, to improve future events and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Ensures all events adhere to Chick-fil-A’s health, safety, and quality standards.
- Provides leadership to the event team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment that reflects Chick-fil-A’s values of hospitality and care.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in outbound sales and event management, preferably in the food service industry.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a track record of successful sales.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
