We are seeking a motivated and experienced SCRUM Product Owner to join our client's Agile development team. Reporting to the VP of Product Development, you will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing product features, gathering requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Liaise between the development team and stakeholders, defining and prioritizing product features based on business value and customer needs.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project scope.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with project goals.
  • Release Planning: Participate in release planning sessions to identify sprint goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • User Story Creation: Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation to communicate requirements to the development team.
  • Requirement Validation: Work with QA analysts to review test cases and ensure requirements are adequately covered.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and refine Agile practices.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile software development environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
