RegularPlains Midstream Canada (PMC) is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). PMC also operates strategically-located facilities for crude oil and NGL storage, separates NGL from natural gas and fractionates NGL into pure liquid petroleum gas (LPG) products, including propane and butane.

This role also supports the compensation for our US employees as needed. Reporting into the Manager, Total Rewards, this position is based in the Calgary corporate office and offers excellent opportunities for growth and development. #Plains
Responsibilities:
Assist with design, implementation and management of our compensation and benefits programs;
Provide timely compensation and position advice and guidance to support HR and the broader organization;
Launch and manage the Annual Compensation Program (plus STIP and LTIP) design, delivery and administration, inclusive of the budget preparation
Lead and/or participate in the design and implementation of key compensation, retirement savings and benefit projects and initiatives;
Complete compensation surveys in relevant markets across Canada and the US;
Conduct market assessments, analyze trends and make recommendations through research and peer networking;
Prepare complex modelling, analyses and reports to present as the subject-matter expert;
Participate on and support the Retirement Savings Plan Governance Committee;
Manage the closed DB and DC pension plans for annual compliance; and
Develop communications, FAQs and presentations to promote and educate employees on compensation and benefits programs.
Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 5-8 years of compensation experience;
CCP designation, or in the process of completion, is an asset;
A CPHR designation, or in the process of completion, is an asset;
Familiarity with a variety of compensation processes and programs;
Experience with benefit, retirement savings and pension program design and administration;
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and solid compensation knowledge;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects;
Advanced knowledge of MS applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Experienced in completing and extracting data from salary surveys;
HRIS experience required, Workday experience is preferred;
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication; and
Enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service and fits into a team work environment.
