Nous recherchons 25 moniteurs de logistique dévoués et méticuleux pour rejoindre l'équipe de notre client pour un événement à venir. Chaque moniteur de logistique sera responsable de la supervision des services de restauration et de s'assurer que toutes les salles de l'événement sont équipées des matériaux nécessaires. Ce rôle nécessite une expérience dans l'hôtellerie, de préférence avec une expérience en tant que serveur ou dans un restaurant à service rapide. Le candidat idéal sera un étudiant ou un ancien étudiant de McGill. Cet événement durera environ 3 semaines.


Responsabilités Clés :

  • Superviser les services de restauration pour garantir une livraison et une installation ponctuelles.
  • Traiter rapidement tout problème lié à la restauration pour assurer un service fluide.
  • Vérifier que chaque salle dispose de tous les fournitures et équipements commandés.
  • S'assurer que les salles sont configurées conformément aux spécifications de l'événement.
  • Communiquer efficacement avec l'équipe de gestion de l'événement et le personnel de restauration.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les autres moniteurs de logistique pour couvrir efficacement toutes les zones.


We are seeking 25 dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Monitors to join our client's team for an upcoming event. Each Logistics Monitor will be responsible for overseeing catering services and ensuring that all event rooms are equipped with the necessary materials. This role requires a background in hospitality, preferably with experience in waitressing or fast-paced restaurant service. The ideal candidate will be a current or former McGill student. This event will last for approximately 3 weeks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor catering services to ensure timely delivery and setup.
  • Address any issues with catering promptly to maintain smooth service.
  • Verify that each room has all the ordered supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure rooms are set up according to the event specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the event management team and catering staff.
  • Work closely with other Logistics Monitors to cover all zones efficiently.



Qualifications :

  • Expérience préalable dans l'hôtellerie, en particulier en tant que serveur ou dans un environnement de restaurant à service rapide.
  • Étudiant ou ancien étudiant de McGill est fortement souhaité.
  • Compétences organisationnelles solides et souci du détail.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais ; la maîtrise du français est un atout.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et à faire face à des situations de pression avec aisance.
  • Volonté d'effectuer à la fois des tâches de supervision et des tâches pratiques selon les besoins.
  • L'événement est divisé en 5 zones, avec 2 moniteurs de logistique affectés à chaque zone, garantissant 10 personnes sur place à tout moment.
  • Ce rôle nécessite une combinaison de travail de bureau et de déplacements dans le lieu de l'événement.
  • Les candidats doivent être prêts à travailler des heures flexibles, y compris les soirées et les week-ends, pendant l'événement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, particularly as a server or in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Current or former McGill student is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with ease.
  • Willingness to perform both oversight and hands-on tasks as needed.
  • The event is divided into 5 zones, with 2 Logistics Monitors assigned to each zone, ensuring 10 onsite at all times.
  • This role requires a combination of desk work and moving around the event venue.
  • Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during the event.
