The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant BC regulations and have 2-6 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

What you will be doing at Pinchin

Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including soil, groundwater and vapour samplingMonitor underground storage tank removal programsOversee environmental remediation activitiesPrepare and edit technical reportsLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholdersDevelop and maintain positive client relationships 

What you bring to the Pinchin team 

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science2-6 years of related experience, preferably in British ColumbiaProfessional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., P.Ag. etc. (or working towards) is considered an assetExcellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solveDetail oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Ability to thrive in a team environmentFamiliarity with BC Contaminated Sites RegulationsProficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookAvailability to travel for work when requiredValid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) Availability to work outside core business hours
