Project Opportunity

Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

We are seeking a skilled Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in Kelowna, BC.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, specifically related to contaminated sites.

A Day in the Life:

  • Complete field investigations for site assessments and sampling of soil, groundwater, and vapour
  • Report writing and project support
  • Support project scope development and implementation
  • Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSIs)
  • Conduct historical and regulatory research
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Work in self-lead and team environments
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory body representatives
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, or Diploma in a related field
  • 2-3 years' related experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, with problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work-related travel expenses compensated)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
