Reporting to the Leader, HR Platforms & Technology, the HR Technology & Analytics, Senior Specialist (Workday) will play a critical role in the day-to-day execution and ongoing management of Workday at Interac Corp. You will partner on the roadmap and daily support of the Workday system. This role operates in a matrixed environment, and you will work with the People and Culture team as well as the organization to support tactical and strategic business goals.

You’ll be responsible for:

Workday System Operations and Support

SME for Workday – Provide day-to-day support and development to and including business process configuration, data uploading (EIB), integration configuration and management, reporting configuration, troubleshooting, and the overall performance of Workday. Liaise with the People & Culture, IT, Finance, and Business teams, to support and develop system changes based on current and future policies, processes, and organization needs. Design, develop and customize various reports and statistic analytics (headcount, attrition, leaves, recruitment etc.) for Senior Leadership and Executives. Collaborate with external support vendors on deliverables to ensure Interac’s requirements are achieved within cost and timeline parameters. Support and manage all integrations, relationships, and activities with internal and external vendor applications. Partner on the Workday roadmap to prioritize current and future asks. Test and execute the Workday releases, upgrades, and new features, including regression testing. Support the Year End Performance and Merit/Bonus process. Develop clear, concise, and standardized documents and job aids. Provide active market and platform research to improve and grow Workday at Interac Corp., applying best practices to solve business challenges/needs.

HR Analytics and HR Support

Drive the structure, development, and use of data analytics within People & Culture. Provide system and business support on other People & Culture platforms as needed including McLeans. Provide data and analytical support through monthly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. Collaborate and partner with the People & Culture team to deliver on business requests and solve business problems as it relates to HR Analytics or other areas of HR.

You bring:

4+ years of Workday functional experience. 3+years of HR experience. Experience with Workday projects and implementations an asset. High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Great communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with peers. Communicating complex ideas and business concepts in accessible terms. Ability to thrive and prioritize in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment, working independently and within a team. Confidence in providing and presenting recommendations to Executives and the Business. Strong level of personal organization and time management skills. Team player, adapt well to change, have a positive attitude – and as a bonus, you like to have fun
