About the role

This is an entry level Union position which entails 12-hour shifts with an average of 36 hours per week on a 5-week rotation. You will receive 7 days off at the end of each cycle, so balancing your job and your career has never been an easier choice. 

Hourly rate pay starts at $ with 4thClass Power Engineering Ticket plus a premium of $ per semi-monthly pay period.

Ideally suited for those candidates seeking exposure to a wide variety of steam plant equipment and processes, to establish a firm understanding of the trade.

Team-oriented with the drive to be part of our long-term success, you will share responsibility for the safe operation of the facility and contribute to the strong environmental and operational performance of the team.

Minimum qualification is a  4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.

A background in mechanical and operational troubleshooting, and good communication skills are an asset. Experience in the operation of mobile equipment such as forklifts and front-end loaders would be ideal. 

Applicant must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, testing, background verifications and pre-employment medical assessment.
