Job Posting: NBCC Campus Security Officer- Supervisor, Woodstock, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire a mature and responsible team supervisor for a security position at the Woodstock NBCC campus to work in a full-time position.

The Role:

The Security Officer is responsible for onsite daily operations and ensuring adequate staffing, to meet operational requirements for security services at NBCC facilities. The Supervisor enhances college campus safety and security by providing a uniformed presence throughout the facilities to enforce established policies and practices by performing a combination of static and roving preventative patrols.

We are seeking candidates with:

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Corrections or Police Foundations or Law Enforcement/Policing, and/or Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ) training and Development Period (DP) training in a relevant field Clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks and the ability to obtain required security clearances Must have and maintain a satisfactory Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) record Class Driver’s License is required Workplace Standard First Aid CPR-C & AED Proficient in the use of computers, technology, and understanding of building access control systems Non-violent crisis intervention Suicide intervention

Occasional travel to other NBCC campuses may be required
