Description

Agricorp is looking for Associate Claims Adjudicators to join the Claims Services, Customer Commitment team in the Program Delivery division.

The Role 

An Associate Claims Adjudicator is an entry-level position that is responsible for timely and accurate verification and processing of claims. In this role, you will:

Adjudicate client files by assessing the claim application against coverage, reviewing data for completeness, researching and investigating discrepancies, and calculating program benefits according to Agricorp’s contractual obligations and adjudication best practices Review, verify and approve small or routine claims applications within a prescribed monetary limit for all programs delivered by Agricorp Escalate issues that arise to senior team members Contribute to successful delivery of the team/divisional mandate and business objectives Inform senior team members of discrepancies that may lead to high risk Provide technical advice to those outside of Claims Services, such as producers, clients, and other Agricorp employees Stay current on Agricorp-administered products and services Participate in team goal setting

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, economics, agricultural science or related field, or equivalent experience Experience in claims or risk adjudication, preferably in the financial services or agricultural sectors Additional training courses in accounting, risk analysis/risk management, or financial analysis an asset Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to diverse groups, including clients, brokers, agents and other professionals
