Universal Collision Centre has a permanent full-time position open for an Estimator

As a Collision Estimator at UCC, you will play a crucial role in the repair process by accurately assessing the extent of damage to vehicles and providing detailed repair estimates.
 

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect automobile body damage to identify the exact extent of all damageReview estimates with insurance adjuster to gain repair and replacement approvalDocument approved repair and replacement services required by creating work orders in the work management softwareWork closely with repair technicians to discuss repair plans, clarify any technical aspects, and ensure accurate estimatesMaintain body shop records by recording all repair and replacement actions in the work management softwareStay updated on industry standards, repair techniques, and advancements in automotive technology to make informed assessments

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in a Body Shop environmentUnrestricted driver license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmissionsAbility to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periodsSelf-driven to work independently and the ability to work effectively and collaborate with a teamAdvanced decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset but not mandatory
