As a District Sales Manager, you will use your extensive experience and domain expertise to lead, coach, and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives selling NetApp’s portfolio of Solutions to prospective customers across the Enterprise market located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Job Requirements
As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and successful people You will be a key sales leader on the team focused on driving new business and growing existing accounts for NetApp Your team will manage complex sales cycles by orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, inside sales, marketing, strategic products groups, and sales support You will implement value-selling and solution-selling processes alongside a wealth of knowledge of NetApp’s products and portfolio You will use your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with customers and executive sponsors You will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position NetApp as the leader and partner of choice in intelligent data solutions You will coach and develop sales teams in their key account and territory plans Leading daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results Previous experience in sales leadership, ideally focused on new business acquisition Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position NetApp for on-prem and cloud offerings History of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances Experience as a leader in a team-selling environment Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment Proven experience in pulling together different business units to maximize sales opportunities Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environmentEducation
A minimum of 12+ years of related experience is desired with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is C$214,200-C$261,800 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
