Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Information Technology (VP, IT) will spearhead IT strategy and provide the leadership and oversight for advancing all aspects of Surrey Place Centre’s information technology, enterprise architecture, applications, strategies and long-term strategic roadmap. They will oversee a team of ~16 IT professionals, guiding their skill development and career progression while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. As a key part of the executive team the VP, IT will play a pivotal role in supporting the technology needs of a growing and evolving organization that is committed to improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder and their families.

Both strategic and hands on, you are a values-based leader and team player, highly adept at building consensus and communicating IT strategies to senior management and peers with varying levels of IT knowledge. Progressive managerial experience in the day-to-day operation of a centrally managed information technology function combined with experience working in a complex, multi-site, service-oriented business will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, aiming to empower their team and frontline decision-makers.
