Job Overview

Create comprehensive testing strategy and project delivery. Create documentation templates (test plan, test cases, etc..) and create a library of common tests. Fully defined QA processes, agile methodology. Strong focus on manual ecommerce website testing, order flows, as well as seeking opportunities in automated testing. Manage system and problem analysis, as well as directly perform complex system and problem analysis, associated with application development and test management functions. Participate in assessments with meeting test criteria, product releases and software deployment readiness. You will also make recommendations to improve test procedures and assist with the development of test processes, methods, and tools.

Must have retail, eCommerce and WMS (Manhattan) experience.

Essential Duties

Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements. Especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness.Participating proactively in team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements.Creating test scenarios based on user stories.Participate in story pointing sessions.Ensure accurate and complete success criteria is defined for each user story.Ensure the definition of done is met.Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs, jobs and triggers.Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.Experience using JIRA and Zephyr Squad.

Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications

College diploma or University degree in a quantitative field5+ years software testing and support experienceGood Retail Domain, Agile and Testing skillsGood understanding of ERP Finance and Supply chain flowsFamiliar with business applications supporting capabilities like Inventory Replenishment, Assortment planning etc.Good analytical and organizational skillsWell verse with all QA processesGood ecommerce experience with payments, order flows etc.

Able to solidly incorporate this information, along with project business objectives, into appropriate development strategies and plans.Flexibility to able to change priorities quickly and have a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
