QA Analyst

**Job Description**:
Essential Duties
- Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements. Especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness.
- Participating proactively in team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Creating test scenarios based on user stories.
- Participate in story pointing sessions.
- Ensure accurate and complete success criteria is defined for each user story.
- Ensure the definition of done is met.
- Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs, jobs and triggers.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
- Experience using JIRA and Zephyr Squad.
Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications
- College diploma or University degree in a quantitative field
- 5+ years software testing and support experience
- Good Retail Domain, Agile and Testing skills
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Well verse with all QA processes
- Good ecommerce experience with payments, order flows etc.

- Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, attention to detail and demonstrated track record in managing multiple projects/tasks concurrently in tight timelines.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Follow and align processes with the System Development Lifecycle processes, policies and standards.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to understand requirements documentation, functional specifications, high level design documentation and system documentation. Able to solidly incorporate this information, along with project business objectives, into appropriate development strategies and plans.
- Flexibility to able to change priorities quickly and have a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
