As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Public Relations and Regulatory Affairs and play a vital role in maintaining compliance activities at PSI. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and documenting compliance matters, advising leadership and management, and liaising with government agencies.

**The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will**:

- Liaison and work with manufacturers from around the world on the creation of compliant labels and packaging that meets Canadian regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve labels and packaging in accordance to the Regulatory compliance set out in the Tobacco Vaping Products Act (TVPA) and Consumer Product Labelling Act (CPLA).
- Review and approve all promotional and marketing materials including websites, social media and POS materials in accordance to the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations (VPLPR) and Vaping Products Promotions Regulations (VPPR) set out in the TVPA.
- Review and provide ingredient reporting information to Health Canada Vaping Products Reporting Regulations (VPRR).
- Create and deliver training to manufacturers/other departments as required to support adherence to best practices and compliance to regulations
- Create, organize, manage and maintain quality systems related to SOP management and its processes, record management or other systems as required.
- Source, manage and maintain (using available systems) all required master documentation for all labelling and packaging, a requirement for the release of products to the market.
- Maintain accurate and easily retrievable electronic and paper files for QM documentation as required for compliance with Canadian Regulations (TVPA and Health Canada Audits).
- Attend Product Compliance meetings as required
- Act as a liaison between the Warehouse, purchasing department, Product Development and marketing teams to ensure an alliance of efforts regarding the above duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure the company’s products are compliant with vaping regulations.
- Perform other duties as required

**To be successful you should have**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree or relevant degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience related to QC/QA/ in consumer packaging and labelling of consumer products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workload for optimum efficiency to meet regulatory and product launch timelines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of Health Canada regulations, Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act guidelines
- Multiple language skills in English, French and able to communicate in Mandarin is an asset
- This position is not eligible for relocation support
