What You Will Do

Create non-functional test plans for application, M/W and D/B technologies on a project-by-project basis Execute test plan scenarios using scripts if available Conduct non-functional testing including operability, failover and negative Create reports of test procedures, defects observed, & test result metrics

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required

5+ years in the IT Technology field Knowledge of ITS internal Business practices and related tools/processes would be an asset. Strong change management skills Excellent UNIX (AIX preferred) experience. Excellent Windows Server experience. Experience with WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat. Experience with Cloud promotions. Knowledge of Azure and JBoss Knowledge of Confluence and Jira

Desired

Exposure to SOA based apps. IIS experience Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools (. Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and methodologies

Education:

College / University or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles) Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead. Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
