What you’ll do

:

Duties include but are not limited to:

Repairs and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical switchgear, substations, motor control centres, motors, hoists, lighting control logic and circuitry. Work in accordance with the electrical codes, standards, procedures, and regulations. Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical equipment. Climb and perform work at various heights with the proper safety restraints. Maintain required training for both safety and equipment.

The Team: You will work closely with other Tradespersons across the Maintenance Department and will report into the Trades Supervisor.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

Have a Journeyperson Electrician level qualification. Have a minimum of four years’ experience directly related to the required duties of the trade at the Complex. Knowledgeable with the electrical codes and applications.

This is a unionized role that resides with UNIFOR Canada Local 594 offering a wage of $64.68 per hour. As a union member, you would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement.
