Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other related field preferred. Site based experience considered an asset Experience in the Construction industry or related field. Demonstrates critical thinking skills required of a professional. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other operating groups Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, HRIS) Ability to manage multiple assignments and effectively meet deadlines. Able to pass background requirements and meet all requirements for entry to customer job sites (drug screens, safety, etc). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work with the HR team, site project managers, and site superintendents to meet necessary recruitment requirements for project sites. Helps facilitate the processing of new hire paperwork for craft, overhead, and salaried employees. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding Gathers information to support appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Completing employee safety training and orientations, and ensuring certifications do not lapse Provide applicable employee records to customers as required for pre-job mobilization Generates employee reports and provides information. Receives phone calls with complaints, payroll issues, questions from job sites. Other duties as assigned
