About the role

We’re looking for a Casualty Claims Representative to join our growing team

This full-time permanent opportunity is based in Edmonton.

What you'll do here:

Investigate bodily injury claims to ensure a prompt and fair settlement. Make independent decisions, think creatively, and be able to prioritize the key requirements needed. Analyze documentation including medical history reports, police investigations and various other expert reports. Represent the company in the negotiation and settlement of outstanding claims with third parties directly or with third party lawyers. Manage claims through the litigation process. Participate in the management of loss and expense reserves. Evaluate settlement criteria for payment of claims.


What you bring to the table:

Minimum one year of experience working in Claims. Effective verbal and written communication with all parties. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and organized. Able to work in a paperless environment. Capable of multitasking and juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
