We’re looking for a **Casualty Claims Representative **to join our growing team
This full-time permanent opportunity is based in Edmonton.
**What you'll do here**:
- Investigate bodily injury claims to ensure a prompt and fair settlement.
- Make independent decisions, think creatively, and be able to prioritize the key requirements needed.
- Analyze documentation including medical history reports, police investigations and various other expert reports.
- Represent the company in the negotiation and settlement of outstanding claims with third parties directly or with third party lawyers.
- Manage claims through the litigation process.
- Participate in the management of loss and expense reserves.
- Evaluate settlement criteria for payment of claims.
**What you bring to the table**:
- Minimum one year of experience working in Claims.
- Effective verbal and written communication with all parties.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to work in a paperless environment.
- Capable of multitasking and juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
