We are offering an opportunity in Brantford, Ontario, Canada for a Human Resources Administrator to be a part of our team in the CA Firm industry. The role will involve carrying out human resources functions, ensuring efficient operations and supporting our team.


Responsibilities

• Facilitate the recruitment process, including reviewing applications and conducting interviews.

• Oversee the orientation and onboarding process for new hires.

• Coordinate required information for new hires, terminations, and resignations concerning human resources, payroll, and IT.

• Keep employee records, employment policies, HR forms, payroll forms, and checklists updated and accurate.

• Handle sensitive and confidential matters related to personnel and employee relations, ensuring the security of information.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Keep track of new hire evaluations and training milestones.

• Assist with the management and maintenance of benefit and retirement savings plans, and address employee inquiries about these plans.

• Maintain employee communication boards with relevant information.

• Participate in the planning and coordination of company events and employee engagement activities.

• Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by adhering to workplace regulations and policies, including reporting injuries, accidents, and hazards.

• Prepare necessary documents such as letters, reports, memos, meeting minutes as required.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in bi-annual staff hours reconciliations.

• Implement the performance management system effectively.

• Conduct competitive market research to support pay practices that attract and retain top talent.

• Support the firm's organizational planning and personnel forecasting.

• Provide administrative support for staff and students, managing hours tracking, license renewals, professional development hours, and invoice processing.

• Offer administrative support as needed.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.


• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Administration
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Knowledge and experience with ADP Workforce Now is mandatory
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary
• Must have prior experience with Ceridian software
• Experience with Concur is a must
• Proficiency in About Time software is required
• Prior experience in auditing is mandatory
• Must have conducted background checks in previous roles
• Experience in handling benefit functions is necessary
• Compliance management experience is required.
