The Associate Contract Analyst writes, rewrites and proofreads group insurance policies, booklets, amendments and letters of agreement. In addition, this position documents policy changes and maintains standard and non-standard policy wordings.

How you will create impact: 

Write/rewrite complex, non-standard and large group policies and booklets

Review, analyze and interpret sale specifications, benefits and provisions

Add and review new accounts under existing large group policies

Write complex non-standard amendments for existing large group clients and stakeholder groups

Proof all new policies and booklets, letters of agreement and amendments produced by both internal staff and external third parties

Provide technical expertise regarding policy wording and its interpretation to internal departments and sales staff.

Train and mentor Contract Administrators

To join our team:

Completion of post-secondary education with 3 years of previous group insurance experience

Industry related education (GBA/CEBS) 

Excellent understanding of Co-operators group insurance products

Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills and the ability to work independently

Accuracy with a strong attention to detail

Knowledge of underwriting concepts, group insurance benefits and contract law a definite asset
