Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Project Analyst in our Regina office. In this role, you will be supporting the Water and other Divisions with monitoring, tracking reporting, and projecting project progress, schedules, and fees.

You are an energetic and conscientious individual, responsible for coordinating project budgets and invoicing, and producing monthly earned value forecasting. You are a team player, able to coordinate with multiple working groups to obtain the information needed to assemble monthly financial forecasts for a variety of audiences, and to recommend actions based on analyzing and interpreting data.

You have an eye for detail, creating and assuring reports and tracking tools that conform to project and company standards regarding quality, content, and format. You provide excellent customer service, delivering project management support services to your team and external clients (e.g., change orders, workplans, work breakdown structures & schedules, tracking tools and systems, engineering agreements, contract documents, meeting records). You may coordinate the compilation of reports, proposals, and specifications, and you maintain a current knowledge of project technical specifications and the implications relating to contract implementation.

You will be in an office-based position with occasional travel within Saskatchewan, including some overnight stays.

Job Requirements

What you will bring to the table:

  • An undergraduate degree from a post-secondary educational institution in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional office setting in an accounting, research, engineering technology, analyst, or project coordination role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, data gathering, analytical, judgement, and prioritizing skills
  • Detail and customer service oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Committed team player with an ability to work independently
  • Experience with project management support functions is an asset
  • PMP or CAPM designations are an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with an ability to drive locally, and on occasion travel within Saskatchewan.

Everyone has their own unique talents, skills, and background. Even if you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, let us know why you’d be a great fit for this role

What we offer:

  • Flexible working arrangements, including flex time and remote working options
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including health coverage, dental coverage, mental health supports, and company pension program that matches your contributions
  • Culture that promotes accessibility and respect, through our company-wide Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Women in Science & Engineering Retention Committee, Accessibility Task Force, and other initiatives
  • Culture that promotes sustainability, through our numerous local Eco-Action Committees, and company-wide Climate Change training
  • Ongoing support for your professional development and personal growth through our Mentoring Program, Continuing Professional Development training hours, professional designation support, and Young Professionals Club
  • Work environment that focuses on your health, safety, and overall wellness, including our local Wellness Clubs, and annual Fitness Allowance. The safety of our employees is paramount -- We are COR (Certificate of Recognition) safety certified
