In the Apprentice Automotive Lube Technician role, you will play a crucial role in terms of the customer experience in conducting maintenance procedures to determine vehicle repair requirements and providing accurate recommendations to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs Oil & filter changes Perform complete multi-point inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service Advisor Diagnose issues such as noises, leaks, etc. Perform vehicle repairs/parts replacement if qualified Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants Tire mounting/balancing, rotations and repairs Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor Documents all work performed on the repair order Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean Notifies Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle Keeps shop area neat and clean Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner Other tasks as assignedRequirements:
Minimum of Level 1 Service Automotive Apprentice training Familiarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Excellent communication and organizational skills Efficient problem-solving skills Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and ability to use power and hand-held equipment Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history Ability to work individually and as part of a team High level of integrity and work ethic Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history-
