Closet Installer Team Lead - Delta Closets

Delta Closets is a leader in designing and installing custom closets, wall beds, home and garage storage systems throughout the lower mainland. We are a small team who are enthusiastic and really enjoy what we do. We like to make things fun and take pride in “wowing” our customers with our quality and service.

We are looking for a Closet Installer Team Lead who be responsible for leading and supervising a our closet installers, ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Sales & Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Perform closet installations and assign tasks and supervise work to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and improve overall performance.
  • Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of closet systems.
  • Install closet systems in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial spaces.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales & Operations manager to provide updates on project progress and identify any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve installation processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available for each project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during the installation process, with a view to acquiring 5 star google reviews and customer referrals. 

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in closet installation, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of building codes and regulations related to closet installation.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Delta Closets is based out of Surrey, near Cloverdale. You will be provided with a company vehicle to operate between the Surrey shop and the installation location. 

We are offering $28.00 - $35.00 per hour to the right candidate. We also provide extended health and dental coverage.
