The primary role of the market Demand Planner, Sr. Analyst (Deliver) is to own and ensure the 4-13 week forecast is developed, reviewed, published, and adjusted as needed by partnering with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain partners. The Demand Planner will manage a portfolio of approximately 200-300 SKUs and will develop a forecast by using insights such as shipment history, sales collaboration, distribution accuracy, and marketing plans. This position is a key driver in creating and managing the true consumer demand signals by which to align the rest of the Supply Chain

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review and adjust the 4-13 week forecast based on customer inputs Act as a key player in the S&OE process to ensure our 4-13 weeks plans are reflective of short-term adjustments Participate in Step 1&2, collaborating with Design Planner and bringing short term forecast insights to cross functional teams Analyze historical and short-term future demand inputs and calculate their impacts on demand Make recommendations to enhance business processes, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches, obsolescence, and transitions to evaluate assumptions Provide input related to root cause analyses on forecast error to design demand planner Measure, analyze, and communicate key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators, while driving continuous improvement, as they relate to short term distribution metrics

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field and 2-4 years of relevant work experience or military experience considered in lieu of education requirement, OR :  Master’s Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field and 1-3 years of relevant work experience or military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Minimum 3 years of combined experience in Demand Planning Experience in the CPG industry Experience with planning applications such as SAP, APO, Kinaxis, or SAS Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels within the organization. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
