Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $80,000
Bonus: Potential bonus of $4,000 based on branch performance and company EBITDA ($3,000 based on Branch performance and $1,000 based on company EBITDA)
 

OBJECTIVE:
The role of Branch Manager carries the responsibility of orchestrating and optimizing the operational efficiency of one or more designated branches within our organization. The principal objective is to ensure the seamless functionality of the branch, achieve financial targets, uphold impeccable standards of customer service, and oversee a team of skilled professionals. This individual will be tasked with building, leading, and supervising a high-caliber team capable of collectively attaining objectives aligned with the core values of Safety Express.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals by also reviewing sales results, daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Operational Oversight: Daily review of operational dashboard to ensure operational consistencies within customer order status including back orders, invoices, shipping, inventory levels, etc.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage operational expenses, encompassing costs related to freight, warehousing, and office. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure operations remain within the allocated budget.
  • Team Leadership: Manage team, including recruitment, onboarding planning, training, performance management including attendance, measure KPls, coaching/mentoring, individual weekly one-on-one, annual performance reviews.
  • Communication Hub: Conduct daily group meeting with the operations team for continuous communication with team members to share sales targets, promotions, sales results, new product introductions, webinars, training, standard operating procedures are met including process changes.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products or services meet required standard such as reduce inventory shrink, waste and write- offs, stock adjustments.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee all aspects of logistics, encompassing inventory management, transportation, and operational expenses. This includes but is not limited to managing cycle counts and discrepancies, conducting annual inventory counts, monitoring freight, office expenses, and conducting facility audits.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships both internally and externally to help resolve customer complaints.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate harmoniously with key stakeholders (including, but not limited to peers, customers, direct reports, suppliers etc.) to support organizational goals and share best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Diploma or degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar role.
  • Must speak French
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to delegate and set clear expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen with the ability to analyze data including attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Forklift certification (or capable of certification).
  • Valid Driver's Licence.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

  • Développement stratégique : développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies opérationnelles pour atteindre les objectifs de l'organisation en examinant également les résultats des ventes quotidiennement, hebdomadairement et mensuellement.
  • Adaptabilité : capacité avérée à s'épanouir dans un environnement de travail au rythme rapide, en gérant plusieurs tâches et délais simultanément.
  • Supervision opérationnelle : examen quotidien du tableau de bord opérationnel pour garantir la cohérence opérationnelle dans l'état des commandes des clients, y compris les commandes en souffrance, les factures, l'expédition, les niveaux de stock, etc.
  • Gestion budgétaire : gérez efficacement les dépenses opérationnelles, englobant les coûts liés au transport, à l'entreposage et au bureau. Identifiez les opportunités de réduction des coûts et assurez-vous que les opérations restent dans les limites du budget alloué.
  • Leadership d'équipe : gérer l'équipe, y compris le recrutement, la planification de l'intégration, la formation, la gestion des performances, y compris l'assiduité, mesurer les KPL, le coaching/mentorat, les évaluations individuelles hebdomadaires individuelles et annuelles des performances.
  • Centre de communication : organiser des réunions de groupe quotidiennes avec l'équipe des opérations pour une communication continue avec les membres de l'équipe afin de partager les objectifs de vente, les promotions, les résultats des ventes, les introductions de nouveaux produits, les webinaires, la formation et les procédures opérationnelles standard, y compris les changements de processus.
  • Assurance qualité : développer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir des mesures de contrôle qualité pour garantir que les produits ou services répondent aux normes requises, telles que la réduction des pertes de stocks, des gaspillages et des radiations, ainsi que des ajustements de stock.
  • Gestion logistique : superviser tous les aspects de la logistique, y compris la gestion des stocks, le transport et les dépenses opérationnelles. Cela comprend, sans toutefois s'y limiter, la gestion des inventaires cycliques et des écarts, la réalisation d'inventaires annuels, le suivi du fret, des dépenses de bureau et la réalisation d'audits d'installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Diplôme ou diplôme en gestion des opérations, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe préféré
  • Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.
