The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.

Reporting to the General Supervisor of Electrical Maintenance, the Underground Electrical Supervisor coordinates workers and services within their department. They assume the following responsibilities:
Adhering to company health and safety requirements and recommendations.Managing and mobilizing their work team, which includes electricians and instrumentation technicians.Managing the department to effectively meet various demands.Recommending changes and procedures to enhance work methods and increase productivity in the short and long term.Handling department hiring processes.Ensuring compliance with maintenance processes.Promoting a partnership relationship with various clients in their sector and attending departmental meetings.Mastering knowledge related to the electrical distribution network of the mining site.Collaborating in the development of preventive maintenance programs for electrical installations.Performing other related tasks associated with this position.Qualifications
Hold a college diploma (DEC) or a vocational diploma (DEP) in a relevant discipline. Diverse and relevant experience in the field may compensate for the absence of a diploma.Possess mining modules (FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7).Have an excellent knowledge of the electrical code.Have at least 5 years of experience as an underground electrician.Have at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.Hold a valid driver's license.Assets
Good knowledge of MS Office suite and IT Guide software.Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset due to frequent exchanges with French-speaking team members, facilitating and enhancing internal communications.Experience in a northern context.profile
