**Underground Electrical Supervisor/Planner**

The work location is in **Nunavik** and the normal work schedule is **11 hours** per day on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.**Privileges & benefits**

**Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the General Supervisor of Electrical Maintenance, the Underground Electrical Supervisor coordinates workers and services within their department. They assume the following responsibilities:
- Adhering to company health and safety requirements and recommendations.
- Managing and mobilizing their work team, which includes electricians and instrumentation technicians.
- Managing the department to effectively meet various demands.
- Recommending changes and procedures to enhance work methods and increase productivity in the short and long term.
- Handling department hiring processes.
- Ensuring compliance with maintenance processes.
- Promoting a partnership relationship with various clients in their sector and attending departmental meetings.
- Mastering knowledge related to the electrical distribution network of the mining site.
- Collaborating in the development of preventive maintenance programs for electrical installations.
- Performing other related tasks associated with this position.
**Qualifications**
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) or a vocational diploma (DEP) in a relevant discipline. Diverse and relevant experience in the field may compensate for the absence of a diploma.
- Possess mining modules (FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7).
- Have an excellent knowledge of the electrical code.
- Have at least 5 years of experience as an underground electrician.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
**Assets**
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite and IT Guide software.
- Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset due to frequent exchanges with French-speaking team members, facilitating and enhancing internal communications.
- Experience in a northern context.
