Job Summary

We areseeking a seasoned external reporting business writer to join theExternal Reporting Division (ERD) of the Planning Budgeting &Performance Management Center (PB&PMC). ERD is responsible forensuring This Companys compliance with external reportingobligations as mandated by the relevant regulatory agencies thatoversee the various stock exchanges on which the companys equityand debt are listed. ERD prepares the Annual Report and InterimReports (i.e. quarterly and halfyearly) to fulfill these reportingobligations along with other ad hoc reports for externalstakeholders. Topics covered in the Annual and Interim Reportsinclude but are not limited to the companys history market andbusiness overview business strategy financial and operationalperformance management discussion and analysis and corporategovernance reporting. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor writing editing and proofreading the aforementioned reports andresponding in a timely manner to queries from Management and otherorganizations within the company. This position requiresunderstanding of complex company operations and the companysoperational/financial performance and the ability to communicatethese in a clear and concise manner acceptable for public reportingpurposes. As such we are seeking a candidate with a proven trackrecord of producing high quality external reports for largecompanies ideally within the Energy sector.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Write and edit material for publication in the companysAnnual and Interim Reports for regulatory filing andpublishing.
  • Ensure material is written andedited to follow established internal editorial guidelinesManagement thinking and regulatory requirements. Also ensure thatcontent language and writing style are consistent throughout thereport.
  • Edit and review information related tocompany operations received from various business lines.
  • Liaise with business lines within the company Managementexternal design agency and print shop.
  • Quicklyestablish credibility in the position and effectively interact withorganizations within the company including all levels of seniorleadership.
  • Respond to queries from Managementand other organizations within the company in a timelymanner.
  • Manage prioritieseffectively.
  • Work under pressure and withintight timescales.
  • Handle other ad hoc requestsas needed.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold abachelors degree in a relevant field such as internationalrelations journalism English or communications; a masters degree ispreferred.
  • Have at least 5 years of experienceas a writer preferably for a company in the Energy industry or withan institutional or commercial publication corporate publication oreducational publisher.
  • Possess a high level ofproficiency in written and spoken English with an eye for detailand accuracy. A good command of business Arabic is desirable butnot a requirement.
  • Demonstrate extensiveexperience in writing editing and proofreading.
  • Have experience in writing in standard AmericanEnglish.
  • Exhibit the ability to research andwrite technical oil and gas related information and to communicatethis clearly and concisely.
  • Possess strong ITskills with proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly MicrosoftWord and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrateexcellent interpersonal skills.
