Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Contract (2024/2025 School Year)

Locations: Kent, WA (Schools may vary depending on needs)

Pay: We accept local and travel applicants (packages available). Hourly rate is dependent on experience and whether candidate is 1099 (LLC only) or W2 employee.

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech & Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. This contract position involves providing coverage for openings, personal and maternity leaves, etc. across various locations. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and addressing speech and language issues that impact student learning and educational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address speech and language impairments, including stuttering, voice disorders, language impairments, and impaired articulation.

  • Provide therapy for:

    • Expressive language issues

    • Receptive language issues

    • Phonological issues

    • Articulation issues

    • Pragmatic language issues

    • Voice issues and speech fluency issues

  • Design and implement consultative services for students.

  • Develop strategies to incorporate assistive technology to support student learning.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Valid WA state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Experience working with students with speech and language impairments.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to design and implement effective therapy and intervention plans.
