About the Role:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and addressing speech and language issues that impact student learning and educational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and address speech and language impairments, including stuttering, voice disorders, language impairments, and impaired articulation.
- Provide therapy for expressive language issues, receptive language issues, phonological issues, articulation issues, pragmatic language issues, voice issues, and speech fluency issues.
- Design and implement consultative services for students.
- Develop strategies to incorporate assistive technology to support student learning.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid WA state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with students with speech and language impairments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy and intervention plans.
