Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, we're seeking a dynamic and driven Contracts Lifecycle Specialist to join our elite team.

You will be at the forefront of innovation, playing a pivotal role in managing high-impact commercial transactions. Your sphere of influence won't just be limited to our organization; you'll engage with both internal and external clients, making your mark on the broader industry landscape.

This is full-time position and is based in our Calgary, AB office.

What You Will Be Working On

Operational requirements:

Lead the contract management / administration process through the contractual lifecycle, i.e. planning and coordination with key operational and risk management stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial requirements to support service delivery.

Negotiate directly with clients to capture commercial requirement adjustments to support service delivery (i.e. amendments and/or claims management).

Work with project controls, operations and workforce planning to identify opportunities to drive commercial sustainability and profitability.

Position the organization for service expansion opportunities during commercial interactions with external clientele to support business growth.

Support the development of the request for proposals (RFP) process including bid / risk review analysis.

Ensure timely and accurate commercial correspondence and support for internal and external stakeholders.

Proactively monitor, benchmark and address commercial and/or market conditions for commercial action.

Support operational leadership on commercial aspects and risk profile of contracts (i.e. develop contract summaries of agreements for ease of interpretation).

Attend client relationship management meetings to monitor performance from both parties.

Track client performance on relationship management and contractual obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.

Work closely with and support estimating, proposals and marketing functions based on market and relationship management intelligence.

Key Stakeholder / Relationship Management Interactions:

Internal: Operations, Finance, Workforce Planning, Project Controls, Proposals, Marketing and Estimating.

External: Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Operations.

What We Are Looking For

5+ years of relevant experience.

Previous experience within industry in a relatable role with strong commercial components.

Understanding and experience managing commercial terms and conditions to manage profitability and risk profiles to support business plan objectives.

Ability to articulate meaningful commercial value stories utilizing factual data.

Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships (both internal and external).

Experience with data modelling and/or analysis.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365, respective suite of products and emerging software applications

Ability to adapt to changing business requirements by providing solutions to problems and well-articulated explanations.

Listens to the challenges and opportunities conveyed by clients and demonstrates a willingness to appreciate different perspectives.

Approaches work in a collaborative manner, considering inter-dependencies of various different internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to apply structured thinking, simplifying complex problems to a creative resolution.

Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities.
